Blair Brennan Slaughter, PhD

Blair is a senior executive advisor who partners with organizations to drive meaningful growth and navigate complex change. With deep experience in both operational performance and organizational dynamics, she helps clients identify what’s working, what’s not, and how to close the gaps that are slowing progress.

Blair is known for her direct, insightful approach and her ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution. Her clients value the way she brings clarity to challenging situations—especially during periods of rapid scale or organizational transformation.

Her expertise lies in scaling startups and supporting established companies through pivotal transitions, such as technology modernization, shifts in business strategy, or organizational restructuring. Blair has worked across a wide range of industries—from financial services to oil and gas to non-profits—and brings a holistic perspective shaped by her academic foundation: a Finance degree, an MBA, and a doctorate in organizational development and leadership. She’s known for seeing how the pieces connect—strategy, structure, people, and processes—and helping organizations make changes that actually stick.

Outside of her advisory work, Blair co-founded the Gathering Point Giving Circle, a nonprofit supporting women and children in need in the Baltimore region. She also serves on the board of Leadership Maryland, where she co-chairs the Program Committee.

When she’s not working, Blair enjoys local farmers markets and spending time in the kitchen with her husband Dave, daughters Natalie and Cecilia, and their lovable chocolate lab, Luke.
